[edit]Virtualization and double-boot computer
[edit]I'll partition an HDD in two, install Windows in one, and Ubuntu in the other. I would be directly running any one of them as the main OS (choice through Grub).
For running both at the same time, I'd try to run Windows as the host and Linux as the guest. I was told this is easier than the other way round.
When I run Linux as the guest, would I be running the same installation that's in the partition? That is, one installation that is also run as main OS? Or, does virtualization implies an installation on its own, just for the virtualization program? --Doroletho (talk) 17:43, 14 April 2018 (UTC)
