[edit]Loading audio recordings to website
[edit]Can any reader please explain to me how to load an audio recording in wma format to a "yahoo small business" website? Thank you. Simonschaim (talk) 10:17, 14 July 2014 (UTC)
- I'm not quite sure what you're trying to do, but it sounds like you have a website, and you want to let your visitors play an *.wma file. If so, you will need to put the file in a directory that the website has access to, and then add a link to the website to play the audio. This last step may require you to write some HTML: http://www.w3schools.com/html/html_sounds.asp can show you how to do this, although (as the page notes), getting the file to play in all standard browsers can be difficult. Good luck!OldTimeNESter (talk) 20:35, 14 July 2014 (UTC)
Thank you OldTimeNESter. I afterwards found a relatively simple way to do it. I converted the wma files to mp3 files and then split them into files which were smaller than 5Mbytes since that is the maximum size file one can load on to this website Simonschaim (talk) 07:03, 18 July 2014 (UTC)
BlackBerry 9350
[edit]I have an old BlackBerry Curve 9350 that has a photo for the wallpaper/background. It turns out that it is the only copy of the photo. I've checked all the folders on the phone and my computer but the photo does not exist. Is there any way to get the image off of the phone? - Think how would you go about when you'd want to change this background image? Where in the menus would you go, not through something like 'Gallery' -> 'Set as wallpaper' but e. g. Options -> Phone -> Theme -> Wallpaper? Maybe there's some reference there that might give a hint as to where the image physically is. --Ouro (blah blah) 20:23, 14 July 2014 (UTC)
- Thanks. I'd already tried that. CBWeather, Talk, Seal meat for supper? 07:01, 15 July 2014
- I, personally, don't know anything about blackberries, but this[1] might be useful, though for a different model. The op mentions that the retrieved image is a lower resolution.Phoenixia1177 (talk) 13:03, 17 July 2014 (UTC)
