RedWarn is a free and open-source project released under the Apache License 2.0. Per the license, you're free to create and upload your own modifications of RedWarn to the English Wikipedia. If you have experience with JavaScript and have noticed something you don't like in RedWarn, want to customise it further, or another similar thing you would like to change, you are free to modify RedWarn's source code to do so. If you think it would benefit other users, you can also leave a note on the RedWarn talk page of your suggestion, or you can make a merge request on the RedWarn repository on GitLab.
However, please be aware that as with other tools such as Huggle, RedWarn contains code that implements permission restrictions on the English Wikipedia as per community consensus. There are mechanisms in place that are designed to flag users who bypass these restrictions, but this is only so the RedWarn team can spot bad actors who are abusing a modified version of the tool.
That being said, we encourage you to help improve RedWarn, or customise it to your needs! See the RedWarn GitLab for further instructions on how to set up a development environment.
