Hi, I've created this portal a little while ago, and I'm thinking about getting it up to Featured Portal status. I would like to hear your comments on how I can improve it further in order to get it to FP status.

Thanks, --Music26/11 14:07, 7 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

19 selected articles, all WP:FA, 14 selected biographies, all WP:FA, 11 selected pictures, all WP:FPs, 30 sets of 3 DYKs, all had appeared previously at T:DYK, 20 selected quotes, all with free-use images. News updates with Wikinews Importer Bot (talk · contribs), and a Rotating In this month section. Things you can do has a link to a cleanup listing from WolterBot (talk · contribs), and articles with notability concerns from WP:WPNN.

Thanks to Awadewit for help with this one. Looking for any feedback/comments prior to WP:FPORTC. Thanks, Cirt (talk) 21:57, 26 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Notification given at talk pages of WP:THEATRE, WP:MUSICALS, WP:SHAKESPEARE, WP:G&S. - Cirt (talk) 22:18, 26 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Not sure if this is the right place to say this, but I was struck by the poor quality of the lead article. In particular 'theatre' is referred to as the 'European spelling'. Actually this English spelling derives from the French 'théâtre', while the German spelling is 'Theater'. Both spellings have European roots. --Kleinzach 04:58, 30 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah this isn't really the best place to discuss the quality of the articles themselves, the more appropriate place to bring that up would probably be Talk:Theatre - however I did make the change in the intro, from "European" to "English". Cirt (talk) 05:13, 30 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
