Wikipedia:Picture peer review/Roanoke Star
Appearance
Neat close-range image of the Roanoke Star. I like this image because the sky behind the star is still lit up, thus the back-structure is visible along with the fully-illuminated star. It is used in the article Mill Mountain Star, and was photographed on April 7, 2005 by Ben Schumin (SchuminWeb).

- Support - Great photo! Trees are a bit intruding, but besides that it's great! Jake 00:23, 22 August 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks for your kind words. The only major adjustment that I see that this photo needs is for someone more talented with Photoshop than me to "fix" that one section of the star where the red neon was burned out at the time the photo was taken. SchuminWeb (Talk) 01:17, 22 August 2006 (UTC)
Comments:
- It has good composition. However, I doubt it would make it through FPC: it's fairly blurry. Unfortunately, I think the blurriness is too severe to be fixed without depleting the image quality. --Pharaoh Hound (talk) 13:39, 26 August 2006 (UTC)
