Wikipedia:Peer review/Harry Leahey/archive1

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Hi,

I've listed this article after completing it using the following reference: Peters, Philip M. (2006). Harry Leahey: master guitarist, musician and teacher. Newark, New Jersey (published May 2006). OCLC 319584186.{{cite book}}: CS1 maint: location missing publisher (link)

My previous edits have always consisted of slight fixes or table formattings, or of translations (so with source example), this one is my first entirely original contribution. I'm not entirely sure of the way I used the sfn templates to cite the source, and of the relevance of every bit of information I've included, or if I should have added some more.

I'm looking forward to reading your feedback, Thanks, Cryoclaste (talk) 14:23, 5 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Cryoclaste looks great for your first major edit. I think the article is easy to read and, what's better, it's well cited. I've added the actual Peters citation so that readers can know what source you're referring to. I think you've included just the right amount of citations. If you did want to improve the article some more, I would recommend trying to include an image of him or an album or performance of his. I would also recommend trying to write a little bit more in a paragraph format, as at the moment the article is almost like a list or timeline (that said, it's still easy to read and what you've included is good). Maybe some related material you can group as paragraphs. Keep up the good work! Let me know if you have any other specific comments / areas you have questions about.
