Wikipedia:Peer review/Final Fantasy XII/archive1
Appearance
The WikiProject has been working on another article. Basically, we've been chipping away at it for quite some time, and I'm bringing it here to get some fresh eyes. In my opinion, all that's left is a solid copy-edit, and perhaps a slight expansion in the development and reception sections. Fire away :) — Deckiller 04:40, 22 March 2007 (UTC)
- No comments? So if we go to FAC, we won't be swamped with "refer to peer review", correct? Or, if we are, I can consider that a silent support? :-) — Deckiller 05:11, 24 March 2007 (UTC)
- The merchandise section has a lot of unnecessary information... "model: SCPH-75000 FF", "a standard DualShock controller", "standard 8MB card, priced ¥3,660", "came in 120mL bottles with a retail price of ¥19". I could go on, but you get the idea. --Teggles 09:53, 24 March 2007 (UTC)
- Yeah, it's very poor, and still reads like an infomercial. I noted on the talkpage that it seems to be the last section left that needs major work. — Deckiller 14:52, 24 March 2007 (UTC)
- I am a reviewer, so I should say that this article mostly looks fine, but some parts, IMHO, are may be nitpicking. Other than that, this article looks similar to other articles, e.g Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy VIII, Final Fantasy X, Final Fantasy X-2 Chrono Cross and Chrono Trigger. - The merchandise section is much improved. Although a bit long for a video game article, it should be just fine. However, you may want to add the spoiler warning tags around the "Story" section. As it stands, it doesn't have any, and details the events of the entire game. It should either be marked as a spoiler or limited to a plot summary. All in all, the format matches up pretty well with the other Final Fantasy articles. — Shouri Shokkou 23:27, 10 April 2007 (UTC)
