I eventually would like to make this a featured article and was wondering what can be done to do so. Underneath-it-All 15:53, 26 January 2006 (UTC)
- Inline citations. Also, you should try to wikilink some words in the image captions, if possible. Gflores Talk 22:16, 26 January 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks! I wikilinked some words in the image captions, song and album titles and am in the process of adding some citations within the article. Thanks for the feedback! Underneath-it-All 21:06, 29 January 2006 (UTC)
- Hey there -- just as a preface, I know nothing of the Minogue sisters except that Kylie had a hit in the US with "Can't Get You Out of My Head". Hopefully then, my suggestions as a music fan who knows nothing of Dannii will be helpful for you:
- "quickly becoming one of the most popular and highest profile members in the show's twenty year history" Why was she so popular on this show -- from the singles? What was her role on the show? How long was she on the show? Also, for anyone like myself not familiar with the show, I'd mention what type of show it is (I saw that it's a talent show, but was her regular role always music related?).
- "The line was an immediate success selling out ten days across Australia". and "The show was seen by 50 million people a week". I think that sales figures such as this and any others in the article should be sourced.
- There is a lot of passive voice. In the section of Love and Kisses, the phrase "was released" is mentioned three times in one paragraph. I would recommend trying to get rid of the verb "was" whenever an action verb could be found. Also, a quote by her saying it was "the first mature song I ever did" should be referenced, too.
- As someone unfamiliar with Minogue, I hope my suggestions help. Best of luck with the article.--Ataricodfish 21:11, 7 February 2006 (UTC)
Thanks for the great suggestions! I will include your suggests into the article once I have my own internet connection back, instead of using my friends. Underneath-it-All 22:43, 11 February 2006 (UTC)
