This 1927 photo of the Flinders Street Station, the central railway station of the suburban rail network of Melbourne, Australia, shows a mix of motor vehicles and horse drawn carts on the streets, as well as both electric and non-electric trams. The station opened in 1910, replacing an ad hoc collection of weatherboard train sheds.
