When you SCREAM, it doesn't only make others not like you, but it also ruins the tone. Such as:
The Bad-Tempered Admin, or, the Testing Noob, or, the War of Screams
[edit]Once upon a time, an user (who we will call User1) was a new user editing Wikipedia. Within a day, he had amassed the required 10 edits for autoconfirmed status, but he had not done the 4 days. However, a notoriously bad-tempered administrator (who we will call User2) had noticed User1's editing, which contained a multiple of test edits that achieved no consequence, and one of them was borderline vandalism.
So User2 notified User1 on his talk page with {{uw-vandalism1}}. User1 obliged, or seemed to. He was back to editing, and User2 went to clear up the WP:RFPP requests, which he did regularly in his spare time. However, User2 kept a careful eye on User1.
And sadly to say, it quickly escalated into an edit war. And therefore, if you SCREAM, the other person is going to SCREAM back. So don't SCREAM! (Or else it's a ScreamWar.)
And please don't fight fire with fire. Remember, fire + fire = more fire. So keep cool and play with snow!
