Wikipedia:Meetup/Treffen der Wikipedianer

The meetup culture of Wikipedians in Germany is divers and includes many large and an astonishing number of smaller places all over the country. Many groups meet regularly, usually once a month, some for many years now. The oldest still existing meetup group in the world is in Munich. The Munich "Stammtisch" (literally table of regulars, but meaning the regulars themselves) meets since October 2003, every month without a single date canceled. In Cologne and Hamburg, volunteer Wikipedians rent stores as workspace, for meetups, edit-a-thons and any other possible activity.
