Wikipedia Edit-a-thon
Want to make a difference in the collective bodies of human knowledge we call wikis? Want to call yourself a Wikipedian? If you've been using Wikipedia for years and never edited, let's fix that! We'll be meeting first at IHOP, 2169 Fenton Pkwy #108, for breakfast then heading next door to the library with our laptops. There we will go through a few simple steps to get everyone ready to edit. Our plan is to focus on articles related to psychology, neuroscience, and quality of life factors, but you can contribute to any topic that interests you.
This is community service learning, perfect for students! You can use research papers you are already working on and help improve related articles. Even if you can't join us in person, there are lots of ways to help and enjoy this experience! Post your questions and comments - we'll get you connected!
