In celebration of Women's History Month, The Wallace Center, Rochester Institute of Technology Libraries will host Women on Wikipedia Edit-a-thon on Saturday, March 25, 2017, from 10 am to 4 pm. Edit or write Wikipedia entries about notable women or topics related to women. Food & beverages provided. We will teach you how to use Wikipedia's editing tools. Everyone is Welcome. We invite people of all gender identities and expressions to participate. Children under 16 must be accompanied by a adult. Drop in for half an hour or longer; no need to stay all day.

- Early Bird Training Sessions Librarians will offer training sessions on the basics of editing Wikipedia the week of March 20-24. We highly encourage Edit-a-thon participants to attend one of these training sessions because it will prepare you to dive right into editing on the day of the Edit-a-thon. All training sessions will be held in in the VIA Lab (2nd floor, The Wallace Center) and cover the same material, so choose the session that works for you! See external links below for times.
