Come one, come all, to the first annual Wikipedian Picnic in Scottsdale Civic Center Mall in Scottsdale, Arizona. Bring along your significant others, bring your offspring.

Bring your frisbees, your coolers, your sandwiches, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, and whatever else you find appropriate.

What, Where, When, and How?

[edit]
  • What? Picnic at Scottsdale Civic Center Mall
  • Where? Main (North) Entrance to Scottsdale Center for Performing Arts, 7374 East 2nd Street; Scottsdale, Arizona
  • When? Saturday, 25 June 2011 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
    • Rain date: Sunday, 26 June 2011

What to bring

[edit]
  • A blanket.
  • Food and snacks enough to feed yourself and a few of your fellow Wikipedians (salads, lunch meats, breads, condiments, etc.).
  • No alcohol
  • Stool or folding chair if you prefer staying off the ground (picnic tables and park benches often crowded).
  • Sunscreen; maybe a hat. Sunshine will be abundant and little shade is available on the lawn itself.
