Wikimedia New York City invites you to attend its monthly WikiWednesday Salon on Wednesday, August 25, from 7:00 pm - 8:30 PM ET. No experience of anything at all is required. All are welcome!
All attendees are subject to Wikimedia NYC's Code of Conduct.

If you have not used Zoom before, you will be prompted to download its launcher program. It works on PC, Mac, and Linux. If necessary, you can also connect through Zoom's iOS or Android app, which you can find on the zoom.us website. As a last resort, you can also dial in by phone, calling (646) 876-9923 and enter the meeting ID (811 3212 6602). Please keep in mind that if you dial in by phone you will be able to listen, but will miss all visuals.

- I recently found this very in-depth report on the FABG: Archaeological Topic Intensive Study to Identify The Descendant Community For The 2286 Church Ave Site - commissioned by the New York City Economic Development Corporation. Trying to wrap my head around how to add the information to the wiki article. The report cites a 1810 obituary in the Long Island Star that I cannot find. I am confused about what paper the Long Island Star was in 1810. Can I cite the report directly? The other major citation is this book Historical sketch of the Zabriskie homestead (removed 1877), Flatbush, L.I. with biographical accounts of some of those who have resided in it, which I added to the article. The report also has very interesting maps showing where the graveyard was compared to the streets of today. --Wil540 art (talk) 02:47, 25 August 2021 (UTC)
