All are welcome. No experience necessary! We look forward to welcoming experienced editors who are willing to help beginners!
Create and improve Wikipedia articles for women innovators in video art, electronic music, and women pioneers in tech of all kinds. Also participants can work on any topic they wish.
The event will take place outside. Bring a sweater/jacket! Snacks will be provided. Take a break to enjoy Friday Flights program (artist performances of ambient sounds, film screening, cash bar).
What to bring with you
[edit]Please bring a laptop, power cord, and published information (bio, books, articles, etc.) with you! If you don't already have information, don't worry -- we will have published information on hand for many of the names listed below in "List of articles to edit".
Please create a Wikipedia account before attending! In the past, there have been issues when a lot of people in one location create usernames. Wikipedia thinks it spam and doesn’t like it!
