Event details
[edit]Only 10% of Wikipedia contributors identify as female, which has led to an under representation of women focused pages. The Kitchener Public Library, the Kitchener-Waterloo Art Gallery, Open Sesame and the University of Waterloo Library are co-hosting an edit-a-thon on Saturday, October 21, 2017 to disrupt this trend and improve awareness about Indigenous Women in the arts. First-time and experienced editors welcome!
