Wikipedia is one of the most widely-used resources in the world but there's always room for improvement, especially when it comes to underrepresented communities. That’s why Special Collections & University Archives is hosting WikiAPA, in conjunction with Asian Pacific American Heritage Month, to encourage people to create and update Wikipedia articles around Asian and Asian Pacific American content. This event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served. Whether you’re new or not to Wikipedia or Asian Studies, your help is needed!

- (Reposted from this archived talk page, in a discussion about racism in Oregon. Only some of this is related to Asian Pacific American heritage, but I kept the whole thing for context):
- There is some good food for thought at Vanport, Oregon; Native American peoples of Oregon; History of Oregon#Racial discrimination; Racism in the United States; Segregation in Seattle (a stub); Hells Canyon Massacre (an article begging to be expanded).
- I would also look through Category:Racism and Category:Racism in the United States and Category:History of racial segregation in the United States and especially Category:History of racism in the United States to see if there are similar articles and to see how they are organized. [...]
- I also got distracted by this article about Japanese immigrants in Oregon. There is probably more good stuff on race relations, and references to sources, at the Oregon Encyclopedia. This article on Japantown in Portland, for example. – Jonesey95 (talk) 06:11, 11 May 2017 (UTC)
- Chinatowns in the United States (many articles)
- Ann Curry
- Hung Far Low (restaurant), I might try to finish expanding this article, but certainly welcome others to lend a hand! ---Another Believer (Talk) 15:08, 11 May 2017 (UTC)
- Japanese American Historical Plaza[1]
- Kooskia Internment Camp[2]
- Robert Murase
- Mae Yih
- Smithsonian Asian Pacific American Center needs citation, logos, etc
- Lisa Sasaki new director of the Smithsonian Asian Pacific American Center
