Black History Month First Edit at NPR
[edit](This event has already occurred. Feel free to take a look to get an idea of what happened.)
If you've ever wondered how Wikipedia gets made or want to help the encyclopedia better represent history, come join us.
As a part of NPR's celebration of Black History Month 2015, we will collaborate to update and improve existing Wikipedia articles about trailblazers from the last 100 years of black history, 1915 to 2015. We'll learn about Wikipedia's philosophy and how to make simple edits—and then give you plenty of time and help to make your own first edit.
