Disagree- If one would check through the logs, this image was previously nominated for deletion and survived that challenge. Whatever arguments you may have, have already been made and sufficiently addressed, such that the image was taken off the nomination for deletion and kept. Keep - Disagree it fails WP:NFCC#8. You could say the same about any image on that page, or for instance the images on the entry for Albert Einstein that teb728 contributes to (multiple pictures of Einstein at different ages, a picture of a patent office, etc.) This picture specifically illustrates and sums up the entire section on the financial troubles and demise of Commodore. It is an actual picture taken during this time period, when employees flew the flag in half mast as a symbol of mourning during its closure, and includes a citation for such. With the exception of the logos, all of the other image on the Commodore International are licensed under free licenses; so their use is not limited by WP:NFCC. (Perhaps some of the logos should be deleted.) This image was used in both the page for Mohegan Sun Arena and the page for the Connecticut Sun, the arena's main tenant. This image gives readers an idea about what the arena looks like. - The Mohegan Sun Arena page includes this official logo. It is non-free, but it could be used for identification on the Mohegan Sun Arena article. I understand that. But in my rationale, I clearly stated that cameras are not allowed into the arena. Only media personell can take cameras in the arena. Ah, I missed that. OK, but how about an exterior shot of the arena? Los Angeles Sparks doesn’t show their home at Staples Center. But it could use the free exterior shown in Staples Center; Los Angeles Lakers does use it. Delete: A quick search shows many images taken inside of the arena by people. I found free images such as this and this. (Already on Commons - File:MoheganSunArenaconcertinterior.jpg) I am sure if someone wanted to do a more detailed search more would turn up. The use of the existing image in the Connecticut Sun article does not illustrate the subject ("a Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) team") of the article as it being used to illustrate the arena "filling up before a Sun game". And, as User:Ian13 pointed out an exterior shot, such as File:Mohegan sun at dusk.jpg, could be used. Soundvisions1 (talk) 13:45, 18 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I'm sorry, but both of those files from flikr are utter garbage. I do not think anyone wants those on wikipedia. You really can't get an exterior shot of the arena as it is inside the casino.
