This won't remain in the history if the image is deleted, but the uploader tampered with a tag on this image, changing it from

This is a combination of images. some licensed as cc-by-sa-2.5, some dual licensed as gfdl/cc-by-sa, some public domain and one non-free image (Image:Samand sahel.jpg). The combined image is said to be released under dual licensing gfdl/cc-by-sa, but this is not compatible with the non-free image not with the cc-by-sa images. If we had a good replacement image, I'd agree, but I don't see any harm in it staying up until we find a new image for it.
