- Result: Delisted per unanimous consensus. -- Khazar2 (talk) 23:51, 23 October 2013 (UTC)
This article appears to be completely lacking in any form of independent references whatsoever. I am requesting a community reassessment of its GA status because it is not clear to me whether this is a valid reason for it being delisted as a GA. However, such a lack of independent references would certainly lead to it being declined at Articles for Creation or similar processes, and it seems irrational for it to retain GA status in such a condition. - I agree that this article should be delisted: the only non-ASEN source is the Blackwell Publishing one—now Wiley—which gives the only information about the organization that isn't by the organization itself. This is an article made almost entirely from a primary source that isn't very broad in its scope nor with adequate depth. I'm dubious as to whether it would even qualify beyond a C-class article today. BlueMoonset (talk) 21:54, 6 October 2013 (UTC)
- Delist. I don't see any way to salvage this as a GA, to say the least. This article has no truly independent sources. The only source that's not explicitly from ASEN itself is the information page of Nations and Nationalism at Wiley (formerly Blackwell). However, they are the publishers of that journal on behalf of ASEN; there's a degree of difference there, but it's certainly not independent coverage as generally considered. I'm really struggling to find appropriate replacement references. Squeamish Ossifrage (talk) 20:39, 17 October 2013 (UTC)
