Goings-on in the week starting Sunday February 5, 2006 The Main Page redesign project has entered an open editing session to prepare the final draft to be pitted against the current Main Page in the upcoming Main Page election (to be held March 1st). Your input and creativity is welcome. The Wikipedia Signpost publishes Volume 2, Issue 6 on 6 February. An experimental lightweight deletion system has started a test run. Discussion is at Wikipedia:Proposed deletion. Sam Korn and Morven were granted CheckUser status on the request of the Arbitration Committee.
