The Auckland Museum Wiki-Awards
[edit]The Auckland War Memorial Museum Tāmaki Paenga Hira Wiki-Awards began after a suggestion in a report by User:Giantflightlessbirds, to recognise the contributions of editors. Some of these contributions may include:
- Exceptional work during an Auckland Museum edit-a-thon
- Great use of images from the Collections of Auckland Museum (any image with the WikiCommons Category Images from Auckland Museum)
- Greatly improving pages associated with the museum (e.g. Auckland War Memorial Museum or notable figures on our Conflict of Interest list) that staff are unable to work on)
- Contribute great on a topic that the museum focuses on, which includes:
- History of Auckland and Suburbs of Auckland
- Requested photographs in Auckland
- New Zealand biodiversity articles
- Articles for New Zealand Women in Red
- Articles on Māori/Pasifika communities, and/or that significantly highlight research
