Graphics Lab/Photography workshop

The Graphics Lab is a project to improve the graphical content of the Wikimedia projects. Requests for image improvements can be added to the workshop pages: Illustrations, Photographs and Maps. For questions or suggestions one can use the talk pages: Talk:Graphics Lab, Talk:Illustrations, Talk:Photographs and Talk:Maps.
This specific page is the requests page for the photography workshop. Anyone can make a request for a photograph to be improved for a Wikipedia article. The standard format for making a request is shown below, along with general advice, and should be followed.

Advice to requesters

All requests: Please make sure your request is "legitimate" by copyright. If the image(s) are in the public domain or freely licensed, you are fine. If the image(s) are "Fair use", there are only certain things we can do with them without falling afoul of Wikipedia's fair-use policies. If you are requesting assistance with a copyright or fair-use image, don't display it on this page; place {{GLNF|Example.png|caption|align=left}} to create a link to it. Do not add the File: extension. Our fair-use policy does not allow displaying fair-use images out of their articles on ANY account. Please check back regularly to see if progress has been made or if any additional questions need to be answered before the request can be completed. If a request is done to your satisfaction, please mark it with {{resolved}}. SVG requests: Make sure your request can actually BE vectorized. Note that vector drawings are not suitable for certain applications. We generally use SVG format for icons, logos, drawings, maps, flags, and such. Certain things, photographs especially, are totally impossible to vectorize. Per our non-free content policy, vectorization of copyrighted images is not permitted. If a vectorized non-free image is desired, seek out such an image from the copyright holder.

In my opinion, determining who is who in the photo description is ambiguous. The figures depicted are not vaguely shown and, once separated, should not illustrate articles about individual athletes. PawełMM (talk) 07:57, 2 December 2024 (UTC)

Hi, I was wondering if someone can kindly please upload cropped versions of this photo of Larbi Touati and some other soccer players so they can all go on their respective pages? The main person needing a photo is Larbi Touati. While Touati has a page on six different Wikipedia versions, there are eight other soccer players Mohamed Salah Jedidi, Abdelkader Ghalem, Rabah Krimi. Hamadi Khouini, Rachid Troudi, Jalloul Chaoua, Hassen Toumi and Mahmoud Ben Ammar that all need cropped photos but only have have pages on the French version (with some of those also having pages on the Arabic version).
