Fugu

This curious looking fish is one of the many cultural rarities of Japan. Being the only delicacy forbidden to the Emperor of Japan, the fish's toxins are traditionally not entirely removed, so that the experience of consuming the fish is enhanced by a slight tingling of the tongue. This image captures the fish as presented in a public market. It highlights the prevalence of culture in Japan, and the slightly under prioritized physiological need of survival. Oppose As the photographer of the subject I like the picture, but I think it its not good enough to be featureworthy. For me it is sometimes difficult to make out the features clearly.
