This goes for the "opposes" on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System and Camera nominations as well: In an encyclopedic article on a product, the most encyclopedic possible picture is one with nothing distracting in the background. Oppose There are some technical flaws. The shadow below the gun barrel and above the plug is erased and there a smudge over to the left. It is a rather impotent shot, for a weapon -- on its side and unplugged. A more dynamic angle or being hand-held might improve it. Colin°^Talk 22:06, 22 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding being hand-held: I think that would destroy some of the EV, as we would not be able to see the grip. As this is not an actual weapon but a video game accessory, I don't think having it aimed at Duck Hunt while the player scowls at the dog would be necessary (although admittedly a hit on YouTube). Weak oppose It's a tough subject in that sense, but I do think it would benefit from the top/barrel being sufficiently visible to document the absence/presence of aiming aids, and remote control or decorative elements.
