Original – The bridge Mintarder Ruhrtalbrücke in Mülheim, which runs over the Rhine and acts as a connector between Düsseldorf and Essen. (taken from the article, but I wrote that summary)

Reason

High-quality, high-res, and overall a beautiful photograph. It is also reasonably encyclopedic. A POTY Finalist for 2013!

• Oppose Very low EV, article doesn't even talk about the bridge... Probably far better subjects to represent the city/area than a bridge too. — raekyt 02:59, 5 April 2013 (UTC)
• Oppose too dark to have enough EV, other than the grass in the foreground and a bridge that could be anywhere... I appreciate that the picture is pretty, but the sun being where it is just means that detail is missing, and that is important for our FPs... But more importantly (per raeky) having an FP of a bridge that isn't actally notable enough to be in the article it is being nominated against is kinda a big sticking point... This is an encyclopedia, not a photo gallery sorry... gazhiley 09:17, 5 April 2013 (UTC)
