- Oppose The foreground, grass and wall, are very distracting to the main subject of the image, the train. Surely better angles of this object exists that puts it in focus? — raeky (talk | edits) 03:07, 18 June 2010 (UTC)
- We are working with a 1,813 × 1,360 pixel image. If I crop it to 1200 x 900 or 1400 x 1050 is that still big enough for FPC?--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 03:53, 18 June 2010 (UTC)
- Current written rules is so long as one of the axises is at least 1000 pixels then it meets FP criteria on size. But considering the camera that took this image was 8MP, it appear to be already excessively cropped down from the original, and it's pretty clear when you look at the full image that it's fuzzy and not well focused. Unfortunately this image does not meet FP criteria in quality IMHO. Your best bet is to crop it (uploading a NEW image, not overwriting this one) and nominating the new one at WP:VPC. Be sure when you crop you crop along the lines off rule of thirds to keep it visually appealing composition. — raeky (talk | edits) 04:03, 18 June 2010 (UTC)
- I ignored the rule of thirds and just tried to crop out as much of the offending grass and wall as possible. The 4:3 is pretty close to the rule though.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 04:11, 18 June 2010 (UTC)

- Oppose Prefer the 4:3 ratio crop the most, but agree with Raeky in that this doesn't quite meet FP quality. Jujutacular T · C 04:27, 18 June 2010 (UTC)
- Withdrawn and moved to VPC I did not notice it was a Canon Powershot.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 04:57, 18 June 2010 (UTC)
