Original – The Melbourne Government Post Office (GPO) which now functions as a boutique shopping mall, is located at the corner of Burke and Elizabeth st. Throughout the year, the building is illuminated with different colours; sometimes to reflect a particular theme or to raise awareness. In one week, I visited this same spot 3 times. The first time I was here, the building was illuminated with red and green lighting yet for the second and third visit on Christmas day, it was white instead of green. I actually prefer the white illumination.
