Reason
Early pioneers of radio science and technology in the United States including Charles Steinmetz, David Sarnoff, Irving Langmuir and Alfred Goldsmith in 1921, photographed next to the antenna feed wires of the New Brunswick Marconi Station, one of the first transatlantic radio links. Photo includes Albert Einstein as a visiting guest. The image has good EV in the History of radio article. I added it there yesterday. I rewrote this reason section (simpler and more to the point).

  • It isn't about the event or Einstein. It's about the 11 notable people who are in it (excluding Einstein), five of whom are pioneers in the development of radio in the U.S. The other six made major contributions. The location is a plus too, the photo was shot at the site of the most advanced transmitter in the U.S., one of the first transatlantic stations, the station had an important military role in WWI. And yes Einstein is in it, but it’s not an "Einstein photo". Bammesk (talk) 04:09, 13 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

He does look badass, it's great. Unfortunately I agree with you and the others about the shortcomings. Moonreach (talk) 20:15, 14 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
