- Support as nominator --Tigerhawkvok (talk) 20:37, 21 June 2008 (UTC)
- Comment -- For some reason, the FPC tag won't take. I suspect it may hve to do with the recent change from the original to the edit being represented in an article; when it is editable, can someone add the FPC tag? Tigerhawkvok (talk) 21:34, 21 June 2008 (UTC)
- I just added them now. NauticaShades 22:03, 21 June 2008 (UTC)
- Oppose The lighting's not that good, and, especially in the back, some of the snake is blurry. SpencerT♦C 19:53, 22 June 2008 (UTC)
- Support Edit 1 Good composition and framing for a point and shoot camera. Highly encyclopedic for the article it is currently in (only snake picture in the article). The sharpness is acceptable considering the size of the picture. It can be downsized a lot more if anyone wishes to make it any sharper. victorrocha (talk) 2:20, 25 June 2008 (UTC)
- Strong Oppose, lets try using this image in an article before we nominate it to FP. smooth0707 (talk) 15:05, 26 June 2008 (UTC)
- Comment Used in an article.....? Smooth I think you should pay a bit more attention because according to the nomination line "Articles this image appears in" this picture is in an article and is the main image of that article. Here's a link if you need it Crotalus_cerastes. victorrocha (talk) 20:57, 25 June 2008 (UTC)
- See above, there was an issue with the FPC tag, so another version was put up. SpencerT♦C 22:54, 26 June 2008 (UTC)
- He makes a fair point. Neither the original or edit nominated here are in articles. The version in the article is Image:Crotalus cerastes mesquite springs CA-2.jpg. Presumably the same as the nominated Edit Image:Crotalus cerastes mesquite springs CA-2.jpg (notice the uppercase vs lowercase jpg), but someone would need to confirm this. In short the error really lies with the uploader/nominator being a bit careless with filenaming :-). --jjron (talk) 00:58, 27 June 2008 (UTC)
- Jjron is correct. Link fixed. The original is here soley to provide a source for further editing, rather than doing sucessive edits-to-edits to avoid any compression artifacts that may turn up from multiple jpg saves. Tigerhawkvok (talk) 01:05, 27 June 2008 (UTC)
