Crab apple

Since plant photos appear to be all the rage at the moment, I figured I'd toss this one in for my second FP attempt. As the caption says it is a picture of crab apple fruits and leaves, appearing on that page. It is, curiously, the only crab apple photo of any significant resolution or quality. To preemptively answer at least one question, the highlights on the fruits are caused by the sun, not a flash.

NOTE: Although by the numbers, this should be promoted, most people didn't have a very strong opinion about it, so I'd like to see some more discussion before applying a result. howch e ng {chat} 16:55, 27 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Weak oppose - the depth of field is superb and it's a technically excellent photograph. Comment - I like the photo but I believe any featured picture of a plant/flower should include the species or cultivar name. This should be available as it was photographed in a botanic gardens.--Melburnian 08:24, 1 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
