Original – The obverse of a gold medallion, depicting Constantine the Great and Sol Invictus, struck in 313 in Ticinum after the Battle of the Milvian Bridge. The celestial chariot on Constantine's shield symbolizes the sun's course, while the allegories under the horses represent the earth and the sea.
Reason
A quite elaborate and noble example of Roman medallion craft (although currently without reverse), neutral background.
