- Oppose - Sadly, a LOT of compression artifacts. A better version must exist somewhere... --Janke | Talk 16:33, 16 June 2023 (UTC)
- Not going to lie - I'm very disappointed that I was unable to find anything better online. This appears to be from the same event, but the LOC is not actually indicating whether the photographer was officially with NASA/JPL (and thus the image is free) or if he was a private-sector photographer who happened to be there (and thus non-free). It's a shame, too - this is an excellent image. — Chris Woodrich (talk) 14:07, 17 June 2023 (UTC)
- LoC photo is credited to Bill Ray here [1]. Artem.G (talk) 14:22, 17 June 2023 (UTC)
- It's also credited to him on the LOC page. It doesn't specify anything that would help us determine whether the image is free. For comparison, the images Pete Souza took for the White House would be PD, but anything he's done in the private sector are copyrighted unless released under a copyleft license. — Chris Woodrich (talk) 16:49, 17 June 2023 (UTC)

- Withdrawing nomination. I wasn't able to find a clearer photo, and though it's a great photo its quality is mediocre at best. Artem.G (talk) 13:10, 21 June 2023 (UTC)
