- Support. Great composition, moving subject, high EV showing a number of details of the burial at sea ceremony. Dcoetzee 05:38, 18 July 2011 (UTC)
- Oppose I don't think the image is very instructive compared to other images in the article. JJ Harrison (talk) 06:06, 18 July 2011 (UTC)
- JJ, I disagree. This photo shows parts of the ceremony that aren't included in the other photos. As with each of the photos in the article, this photo adds unique value, maybe not greater than the other photos, but certainly equal to them. I feel that this photo's relatively large size, composition, and feeling of dignity make it worthy of FP status. I'm with Dcoetzee regarding this photo. Pine (GreenPine) t 06:54, 18 July 2011 (UTC)
- Weak oppose I'm not crazy about the encyclopedic value. It isn't immediately obvious that the black box contains the deceased's remains. Also, there are some weird defects near the woman's arm, and the overall quality isn't superb. -RunningOnBrains(talk) 06:36, 18 July 2011 (UTC)
- I agree that the photo could be even better technically, but I think that the photo serves its purpose very, very well, and that this overcomes the minor technical issues. Pine (GreenPine) t 06:44, 18 July 2011 (UTC)
- Oppose. Great topic, but I just don't feel the composition adds much. Kind of confusing to tell what they are really doing. We don't see the ship well, or the sea, or the crowd at parade rest.TCO (reviews needed) 17:52, 18 July 2011 (UTC)

- Oppose Picture doesn't really seem to carry a surplus of encyclopaedic value. That Ole Cheesy Dude (Talk to the hand!) 15:07, 19 July 2011 (UTC)
