Oppose : As far as I can tell it's impossible to know what the blue grid is doing unless you can rotate the image to understand the three dimensional disposition of the points. I work with these surfaces on occasion but can't tell what this diagram is supposed to show. A simpler distortion and / or smaller grid might make it clearer.
