- Um, what blown highlights? And if we refused images every time for faded lighting or blur, I think we would have several fewer FPs in the bird category. Pics like File:Mute Swan Emsworth2.JPG, File:Setophaga_coronata_MP.jpg, File:Calidris alba - Laem Phak Bia.jpg, and File:Crowned Lapwing (Vanellus coronatus) Mikumi shadow lift.jpg all would have failed. --Pine✉ 21:09, 5 April 2013 (UTC)
- The problem is that you are comparing what is effectively product photography to wildlife photography. Those areas have slightly different standards with regards to lighting.©Geni 18:54, 6 April 2013 (UTC)
