Wikipedia:Featured picture candidates/Animated representation of the orbit of the GPS system

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Original - A visual example of the GPS constellation in motion with the Earth rotating. Notice how the number of satellites in view from a given point on the Earth's surface, in this example at 45°N, changes with time.
Reason
This caught my eye some time ago, and I decided to take a chance an nominate it for FP status. The image shows a simulated orbit of the U.S. GPS system and the number of these satellites that are avaliable for use at a given point on earth at any one time.
