- Comment Are those tiretrack-like artefacts in the water normal and unavoidable? It's rather distracting. Adam Cuerden (talk) 20:42, 25 January 2013 (UTC)
- Support Great satellite image. H. W. Calhoun (talk) 02:47, 26 January 2013 (UTC)
Weak oppose The sea looks really artefacted to me - made up of a dimpled pattern, like tiretracks or a knitted jumper - and I've not heard anything yet to make me think this is unavoidable. Adam Cuerden (talk) 09:16, 26 January 2013 (UTC)
- I think that could be edited out by smudging since the surface looks almost entirely uniform. Brandmeistertalk 14:53, 27 January 2013 (UTC)
- The tracks seem consistent with other similar FPs we have, and I think it might just be unavoidable and something that's caused by the satellite: File:Hawaje-NoRedLine.jpg, File:Ireland from space edit.jpg, File:South Island blizzard 2003.jpg, File:Scandinavia.TMO2003050.jpg, File:Deepwater Horizon oil spill - May 24, 2010.jpg.
