- Support - Something this historical is a given. Finally, Godot's pulling out the non-US bills :D — Crisco 1492 (talk) 04:25, 18 June 2014 (UTC)
- Comment I don't like the cut-off top - is this the only known specimen? --Janke | Talk 05:59, 18 June 2014 (UTC)
- @Janke - The "cut-off" top is actually intentional. The ornate scroll-work at the top was cut and the very top margin (along with a copy of the serial number on the note) was kept as an early anti-counterfeiting measure. Some cuts were straight, some slightly angled, some wavy. The note could be compared to the severed top margin to determine if it was genuine. It is the same case with all five of the zloty notes which appear together. See this Uruguay banknote as a later example. Thanks--Godot13 (talk) 19:21, 18 June 2014 (UTC)
- Thanks for that interesting, early anti-counterfeiting info - should be mentioned in the caption! Support, BTW. --Janke | Talk 18:49, 19 June 2014 (UTC)

- Why aren't the 10, 5, 50 and 100 notes of equal quality nominated here as a set? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.72.190.205 (talk) 16:02, 23 June 2014 (UTC)
- Because the 500 and 1,000 are missing and therefore it would not represent a complete set (but rather a short set). These two notes are obtainable, though rare.--Godot13 (talk) 16:45, 23 June 2014 (UTC)
