After several previous unsuccessful nominations, that I wasn't involved with, I decided to work on this list. I have previously taken the subject's biography to FA-status, and after a lot of work on this one I feel that it now meets the FL-criteria. As usual, constructive criticism is appreciated. *Throughout the article the actress is referred to by her first name, I've not really seen this on wikipedia often as it's usually conventional to use surnames as it's more formal. I will note the FA seems to have passed despite using first name throughout.
  • "In this Indian name, the name Balan is a patronymic, not a family name, and the person should be referred to by the given name, Vidya."
  • Roles in films should be cited e.g. the radio jockey role in Lage Raho Munnabhai.
  • Done.
  • The most important award nominations she won for her role in Guru and Bhool Bhulaiyaa should be highlighted in the lead rather than simply stating that she was nominated.
  • Done.
  • Ref 1 doesn't really support the "widespread praise and accolades".
  • Worded accordingly.
  • "She played a sexually manipulative woman in the 2010 black comedy Ishqiya, for which she was awarded the Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actress and received a Best Actress nomination at the same ceremony; she also won Best Actress awards at other ceremonies, including Screen, Zee Cine, and Star Guild." Needs to be reworded into separate shorter sentences.

  • The Dirty Picture sentence should start with her role in the film and then the awards/nominations she received.

Ref check (feel free to correct me if I've misread)

  • Ref 8 doesn't says that the Anandalok Awards are awarded by ABP group to Hindi and Bengali professionals.
The ref doesn't explicitly say that, but the categories, mentioned in the listing of winners, are for the Bengali and Hindi film industries. I guess that's alright.
  • Ref 9 just says she appeared in the film not that she won the Anandalok award for it. However Ref 10 does so replace Ref 9 with it.
Corrected.
  • Ref 14 says Vidya was nominated at Asia-Pacific festival for Kahaani not The Dirty Picture.

  • Ref 19, 20, 21 don't have urls so can't verify. Could online sources be provided?

  • Ref 2 only supports that she won four consecutive awards not that she has won the most Best Actress awards at Screen.
Changed to a better ref.
  • Ref 63, 65, and 66 are a YouTube links from an official channel which are acceptable as primary sources. However if suitable alternative secondary sources were available that would preferable.
Not present. I think the primary references are okay here, as they just state the fact without additional analysis.
  • Ref 82 says she won the award for Versatility In Acting which is supported by this ref: [[2]]

  • Ref 85 doesn't specify which award Vidya won at GQ. However If I squint my eyes I can just about make out from the picture that its for "Excellence".
GQ India's facebook account says that she won for Cinematic Icon of the Year here.
