I am nominating this for featured list because I feel the article meets the Featured List criteria. This is the first article/list that I've made that I've ever nominated for Feature List quality, so I'm not very familiar with every detail the list needs, so I'm very sure that this article might need minor edits.   • I currently don't see any kind of order for the list. I would say replace "Xth Foo Awards..." with "Foo Awards" and just order the list alphabetically by the awards.

  • Add a column for the date of the ceremony for each award.

In the list when the film was nominated for something like Best Film/Picture the award site simply listed Precious as the recipient. With noms. like SAG award for Outstanding cast, it did not specify the actors who were included, it just stated Precious as the credited recipient.   • Don't like the linking of the date to the specific ceremony. In fact, I'd prefer to see just a year, then a specific link to specific ceremony.
  • What is the ordering of the list? Given the table is unsortable, I would normally expect it to be sorted by the first column. Clearly it isn't, but it's odd. Perhaps it's related to the fact I don't like the ceremony date, I'd prefer just a year and a specific link to the ceremony.......

As per the user above, I added the ceremony dates for each award ceremony; the list was originally formatted by A-Z and the award would be linked to the award ceremony or just the award itself. I would move the "date of ceremony" to not be the first column then. It seems odd to have a table which is initially out of order. Whatever other FLs have, I'm not sure about this. And no response regarding the reliability of IMDB... The Rambling Man (talk) 20:07, 31 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • "The film grossed $47,536,959 domestically and $53,455,664 worldwide." Why so precise? Round to the nearest million (or at least tenth of a million); it's neater to read and there's more margin for error if the source is wrong.

  • The nomination column in the info-box should contain the count of all nominations, including the nominations that eventually became wins. All award wins are still nominations as well. This also makes it easier for the reader by presenting the awards count of wins/noms as numerator/denominator.

  • My personal opinion here, I feel the dates look better on the left-hand column of the list, followed by the awards which are alphabetized, and then the award "category" column. More than likely, your average reader will constantly ignore the date column in between the two as it is now when comparing what accolades where won for the particular award ceremony and it may be more of an annoyance. I have read Rambling Man's comments and I can see his point too. I guess it comes down to personal taste at this point and I am just trying to get our film-awards lists to a certain standard format so to speak. List of accolades received by Ratatouille, List of accolades received by WALL-E, and now List of accolades received by Avatar all follow the same format so I don't think we should deviate from it. However, I can't place my opinion above Rambling Man's because he makes a good point too. We need a compromise of some sort it seems. DrNegative (talk) 01:01, 16 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Just to add my input, does it really matter if the date of the award ceremony is on the left or right side in the awards table; a Featured list is suppose to be about whether or not the article meets all of the FL requirements, not about "personal taste" on how the awards table should be formatted, just sayin'.
