My last nomination appears to be set to pass. I only have one question about the presentation of this table: is it best to have each player-manager get one row, or should there be one row per tenure, even if that means some players are listed in multiple rows? – Muboshgu (talk) 18:54, 16 April 2012 (UTC)

Comments "to serve as a player-managers" en-dash, not hyphen, per the article title. Fixed Check that throughout the lead. Fixed "The dual role as player-manager " I would read that as "role of player..." not "role as" but I think it's personal taste. Fixed. "among the winningest managers " I cannot begin to say how much I loathe the word "winningest", can we not use regular English with "with the most wins" or more generally "most successful"? Reworded "Today, the player-manager has become rare in baseball. Pete Rose is the most recent player-manager, serving in the dual role from " a touch repetitive, no need to repeat p-m and we already know it's a dual role... Fixed. "Whereas some player-managers, such as Lou Boudreau, were full-time players as player-managers, by the time Rose became player-manager, he was a part-time player" count the repeats... Comments – "In early baseball history, it was not uncommon for players to serve as a player–managers". Remove "a". Recommend linking to bullpen in the third paragraph, as that is a bit of baseball jargon that could use the wikilink. Decapitalize "General Manager" in the fourth paragraph. "the White Sox considered hiring incumbent first baseman Paul Konerko to seve as manager in addition." "seve" → "serve". To expand on TRM's last point, the John Montgomery Ward caption needs a cite.
