I am nominating this for featured list because I believe that it meets the criteria. We have tons of FL regarding individual fifers, we recently promoted a FL about stadium fifers, but this one will be the first FL about tournament fifers. ♛♚★Vaibhav Jain★♚♛ Talk Email 09:53, 17 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • "The first five-wicket haul in the IPL was scored" scored is not the best here and don't to mention IPL as its obvious its referring to IPL as that is what the list is about. I would re-jig the sentence so it reads like this: The first five-wicket haul was taken by Sohail Tanvir of the Rajasthan Royals against the Chennai Super Kings on 4 May 2008 done
  • "Tanvir took six wickets giving away fourteen runs..." -> Tanvir took six wickets for fourteen runs done
  • The most recent five-wicket haul was taken by Sunil Narine of Kolkata Knight Riders while playing against the Kings XI Punjab at Kolkata on 15 April 2012." need to add the before Kolkata Knight Riders as well  Done
  • provide a link for economy rate to help those unfamiliar with cricket terminology done
  • "who claimed five wicket" wicket should be wickets done
  • "None of the bowlers have taken two five-wicket hauls." -> No bowler has taken two-five wicket-hauls done
  • "Two five wicket hauls have been taken in Feroz Shah Kotla and Punjab Cricket Association Stadium each" -> Two five-wicket hauls have been taken at the Feroz Shah Kotla Ground and Punjab Cricket Association stadium. Also the Feroz link goes to an archaeological monument not a ground done
  • "49 four-wicket hauls have been taken in the competition, and thirteen of them were taken in less than 4 overs." -> 49 four-wicket hauls have been taken in the competition, 13 of which were taken in less than 4 overs. done

  • By everyone. It is a notable thing and guys often record this in statistics.

  • The key table doesn't meet MOS:ACCESS, add scope cols and rows to ensure it does  Done
  • That same table doesn't meet MOS:BOLD, add plainrowheaders to the table's coding to fix the concern  Done
  • In notes, why are the letters written differently
  • I have selected the lower-greek option. They are visible in all browsers (except IE6 or below)
  • I think you can removed the mobile link to the website, in external links, as the reader can get there from that website, etc., as per WP:ELNO
  • Categories should be sorted in alphabetical order  Done

  • Would use encyclopedic language in Kumble's caption (i.e. "five-wicket haul" in preference to "fifer").  Done
  • Particularly since the caption is an almost verbatim copy of the lead!  Done
  • "None of the bowlers..." perhaps "No bowlers have taken a five-wicket haul in the IPL."?  Done
  • "49 four-wicket hauls have..." don't start sentences with a number.  Done
  • "taken in less than 4 overs" fewer than four.  Done
  • Morne Morkel has a diacritic.  Done
  • I would have thought Kumble's average (of 1.00 for five wickets!) is far more notable than an economy of 1.57 runs per over.
  • This fifer is know more for being the most economical one rather than being the best average one.
  • In refs, you sometimes link Cricinfo, and you sometimes don't. Be consistent.  Done
  • Ext link, no need for Mobile to be capitalised.
