After making the list up to date and fixing some of the suggestions made on the previous FLC, I am nominating this for featured list status. It is very similar to the other Gillingham player lists and fits all of the FLC criteria. KingSkyLord (talk | contribs) 21:55, 19 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The rubric at the top of the FLC page says "Those who are not significant contributors to the list should consult regular editors of the list before nomination". I show as having done 75% of the edits (by count) and added 98% of the text, so would have appreciated being consulted. If I had been, I'd have cautioned that there are over 120 red links, which people might take issue with per criterion 5a which requires "a minimal proportion of items [to be] redlinked"...... -- ChrisTheDude (talk) 07:31, 20 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
- @ChrisTheDude: I am also very surprised by the high amount of redlinks (despite all of them passing WP:NFOOTY criteria). I believe this is only a minor issue which could be ignored seeing how flawlessly the list meets the other criteria, but we can work together to make some quick stubs for the redlinks (for example: Michael Freiter) using Soccerbase, Gillingham Scrapbook, and other sources. Accessibility review (MOS:DTAB)

Column headers need colscopes, e.g. "!Name!!Nationality!!..." should be "!scope=col| Name (line break) !scope=col| Nationality", etc., like in your Key table. Colscopes, along with the rowscopes that are already there, allow screen reader software to accurately read out what column/row a bit of cell text is in. --Pres N 20:40, 29 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

English football league system is overlinked.
As is The Football League.
And substitute.
Any reason that Gillingham is piped to Gillingham, Medway which is a redirect?
"throughout its history" entire?
"voted out" do we have an article about re-election etc?
"1937–38 season" put season inside the pipe.
"playing a relatively small number of" playing relatively few games
"youngest player ever to play for any club in the FA Cup" but the source says "The youngest player to appear in any round of the FA Cup (including qualifying rounds) is Andy Awford" I imagine Freeman's record applies to First Round proper onwards...
"1989–90 season" season in pipe again.

I would advocate harvard referencing for the books which are used more than once, so you don't repeat all the information time and time again.
Do you need the super-cat Category:Gillingham F.C. when you have the more refined Category:Gillingham F.C. players?

"playing in EFL League One ... the 2021–22 season" I think a ref needs to be added here (e.g. The Football Club History Database).
"a name which was retained until 1912" ==> They were renamed as Gillingham F.C. in 1912?
In the lede: I don't think it would hurt if it was stated in which year Luke Freeman made his debut and when Roeder was player-manager.
The redlinks aren't a problem for me either.

Not sure why few columns have a reference, while rest don't have.
- There's a general reference at the top of the column - the specific refs on rows are for players not covered by the general ref (because it's from 2003). I'm not repeating the same ref on 600 rows or however many it is..... -- ChrisTheDude (talk) 12:56, 5 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Well, that is all I could find. Check for consistency in location of publication in Bibliography section. Rest, consider a support from me; as well as pass for source review. Formatting and reliability seems fine, as List of Gillingham F.C. players (25–49 appearances), a FL uses same sources. Just FYI, the ref to the Mitchell et al book doesn't give a location because in the front it lists something like six different locations for the publishing house rather than just one (might be five, I haven't got it in front of me right now, but it's definitely quite a few). This came up in a different FLC/FAC and it was agreed that it would look stupid to list them all..... -- ChrisTheDude (talk) 13:25, 5 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
