- I believe this is a featured list of wikipedia. I followed the format set forth through the "What is a featured list" page. I also used the List of Georgia Institute of Technology alumni which is a featured list as my template. I have searched, and these are the most prominent alumni from this university. As stated this is an incomplete list, because there is no way to know every alumni in prominent positions in society.PGPirate 19:36, 3 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- Oppose References are not done in accordance with WP:CITE. See {{Cite web}} for more help.--十八 21:08, 3 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- Oppose per above, web citation template is needed. --Phoenix (talk) 00:30, 4 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- Comment Citation templates are not a requirement for featured material. However, they can help achieve properly formatted citations, which are required. Colin°Talk 12:51, 4 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- They aren't a requirement, but they make the references section of this particular list look really messy. --Phoenix (talk) 17:20, 4 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- I think you misunderstand me. I agree that the references are currently unformatted and not acceptable. But there are two ways to format them per WP:CITE. You can do it by hand, or you can use a template. The visual result is similar. Colin°Talk 18:45, 4 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- Understood, thanks. --Phoenix (talk) 01:31, 5 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

- Oppose besides the references, non-free images (such as Image:MarcBasnight.JPG and Image:KevinWilliamson.jpg), lack FU rationales, and others have questionable copyright status (such as Image:Lin mac69.jpg and Image:Siaki.jpg). --Fbv65edel / ☑t / ☛c || 19:46, 6 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- Oppose per above, and per comprehensiveness concerns. Everyone listed here should be listed in the football section, and I suspect other sports suffer the same problem. Also, this article needs to be moved to List of East Carolina University alumni per naming conventions at Category:Lists of people by university in the United States. - Oppose. I agree with the previous comments. The page is unlikely to be comprehensive, has links pasted as references, without adding information about the author, title and date of publication (or retrieval date). The page should also be renamed. _ Mgm|(talk) 08:44, 9 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- Comment. Consider moving the page to List of East Carolina University alumni. Most alumni lists are names in this form. CG 11:47, 13 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
