I said I would like to write the Cubs list... I was expecting it to take weeks sitting on my radar of projects-not 36 hours. Well, after a sleepless night Saturday, it got produced in a blur. I'm not much of a baseball person, but I do have an affinity for Wrigleyville. Turns out the draft history of these "lovable losers" is fairly boring compared to some of the other teams, but I hope you enjoy any-ways. *Comments - cool little list, a few things I noticed:

- "Despite this provision" - nothing about the provision would prevent the Cubs from signing their picks, it just provides compensation if they do not. Suggest "The Cubs have signed all their first round picks" or "As the Cubs have signed all of their first round picks, they have never been awarded...."
  - Modified.
- Along with this, is there a current need for the green highlight regarding those not signed. The first thing I did was scroll down to see who hadn't been signed, as the lead said they were all signed.
  - Removed, you're right. Can always be put back in the future if needed.
- In the key, the explanation for 'Year' is a complete sentence, while the others are not. Suggest changing so they are consistent.
  - Done.
- Some overlinking with the positions and draft year.
  - I'm not seeing any overlinking in the lede, so I suppose you're talking about the table. I tried to raise the same issue a while ago, so here's what I was told on another FLC, "Since the table is sortable, it's impossible to know which occurrence of no-hitter is going to be the first one at any given time. Also, WP:REPEATLINK says "In general, link only the first occurrence of an item. This is a rule of thumb that has many exceptions, including... tables, as each row should stand on its own""

*Comments:

- I'd probably prefer Rafael Palmeiro as the lead image, since he had the best career of the bunch, albeit most of it was not in a Cubs uniform. Granted, this is more of a personal change. I'd like to see another image of too on the side of the chart below as well, so as to have less whitespace.
  - Found two more images that worked for the white space. The reason I didn't use Palmeiro is simply that the only free image we have is of his back, and I try to avoid pictures that show no face at all in lists. The toolserver displays one from Flickr, but I'm 99% sure the uploader there doesn't have the rights to the image.
- Remove the extra parenthesis in Jackie Davidson's box.
  - Done.
- "The Cubs have made seven selections in the supplemental round of the draft and four compensatory picks since the institution of the First-Year Player Draft in 1965" It would be 11 compensatory picks actually, as supplemental picks are inherently considered compensatory.
  - You're the expert- done.
