I belive this is up to the standard of Featured Lists for wrestling championships, adding improvements from previous FLs. For instance I have recently added sorting of "N/A" so that it's at the end and not sorted like a proper name/event. Here I've also tried a new method of approaching entries where the length in time is unknown without going into Original Research and I think I came up with a pretty good way to handle it and also make the article more informative. Each time I submit a list for FL I learn so I'm hoping that this starts out at a higher level than my previous nomination. I would like to thank everyone for their input in advance, without it this process would fail (which is why I'm making it my goal to contribute more to other FLs as well).   • Dabs and external links check out fine with the checker tools.

  • In addition to being the first champion, Fuerza Guerrera is also the individual to have held the championship the shortest time, 22 days. -- Change the last part either to (22 days). or , at 22 days.
  • Mephisto holds the record for longest individual title reign, 1,141 days, while El Felino's three reigns gives him the longest combined reigns, 1,186 days. -- 1)Same thing like above with the formatting 2)gives --> give 3)reigns --> reign
  • The current champion is Negro Casas, the 23rd overall champion and the 16th person to hold the title. -- I think it would be best to add here what reign this is for him.
  • Casas defeated Místico on March 20, 2009 at CMLL's annual Homenaje a Dos Leyendas show -- 1)This needs a period 2)Spanish translation needed I believe for the show name
  • In 1996 then reigning champion La Pantera planned on leaving CMLL to join their main rival Asistencia Asesoría y Administración (AAA), before doing so he lost the CMLL Welterweight title to Super Delfin in a match not sanctioned by CMLL. -- Comma after 1996
  • When you use CMLL Welterweight title it should be CMLL Welterweight Title and when you use CMLL Welterweight championship it should be CMLL Welterweight Championship
  • CMLL knew that Pantera had given notice used the opportunity to vacate the title, stating that Super Delfin's claim to the title was void. -- +and before used the opportunity
  • After El Felino became the CMLL-endorsed Welterweight champion he defeated Super Delfin to ensure that there was only one "undisputed" CMLL World Welterweight Champion. -- 1)Remove whats striked, no need for it 2)Comma before he defeated Super Delfin 3)This sounds a bit controversial, what verifies this? Especially the "undisputed" part, does it really need quotations.

  • Is ref 1 in Spanish? If so, this needs to be noted with the language= parameter in the template.
  • Yes it is in Spanish, the original article I copied the citation from didn't have the language code, I added it and will run through the various places I've used it and add it


I would like to add that I have been reading a lot of old FLC related comments, especially on alt text (which I have added and will add to any previous FL I've gotten passed) and on the amount of redlinks. Especially the red link talk has made me think and T agree there should be a minimu of redlinks in an article - which is why for this article I plan on creating articles for Pantera (wrestler) (3 links), Ciclón Ramirez, Máscara Mágica II, Olímpico and Arkangel de la Muerte in the next week or two and that these articles will be at least Start class (It's a personal thing I hate creating a stub when I can easily bump it up to start with an hour of work). Oppose – Considering that the list has a couple of supports already, I was disappointed to find quite a few minor problems; none are too bad by themselves, but they add up quickly. I wouldn't expect to find this much in a modest-size list.

Support – I'm much happier with it now that the suggestions have been implemented. Seems up to both the FL standards and those set by other similar lists I've seen. Giants2008 (17–14) 01:11, 21 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
