I am nominating this for featured list because I believe it meets FL criteria and closely resembles other Grammy-related featured lists I have successfully nominated, including Best: Alternative Music Album, Dance Recording, Female Rock Vocal Performance, Male Rock Vocal Performance, Metal Performance, and Traditional Pop Vocal Album. I realize another Grammy-related list is currently being examined by reviewers, but many of the concerns have been addressed and the list has received support already, so I thought it was acceptable to nominate another list (and I have other lists waiting as well). Comments - you know what you're doing!
  • "and from Canada and Mexico once. " dull, no need, padding, remove.
  • As per discussion here, I will leave the sentence as is unless another reviewer asks that the sentence fragment be removed. I think consistency is key, plus I do not want readers to think Canada and Mexico were overlooked. --Another Believer (Talk) 20:37, 12 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • I wonder, and this could be radical, is it worth looking into the "success" of the nominated albums, so you could add a few different lines into lead (e.g certified albums, worldwide sales figures?), might be a nice bit of background?
  • Hmm. My only concern is that the article should be about the award itself. Sales and certifications belong on the artist or album pages. If I were to come across an article specifically discussing the impact an award had on an artist's or album's sales, then I would certainly be inclined to include that in the lead or have a separate section for those details. --Another Believer (Talk) 20:37, 12 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • Thanks for your suggestions! Let me know if you feel strongly about removing the nationality claim in the lead or if there are any other concerns that need to be addressed.   • I am frustrated as I cannot really find much information about there that links the award with album sales. This article highlights awards received and album sales associated with Sheryl Crow, but I think claims in this list should relate specifically to the Grammy Award for Best Rock Album. For example, if an article made the claim that as a result of winning a Grammy Award, "x" album spiked with 100,000 new sales or something along those lines. Simple album sales figures belong on the album articles. I have read article about the awards for Best Polka Album and Best Native American Music Album and how they impact album sales, but no such luck for Best Rock Album. Also, keep in mind that there is no artist or group on this list that has won the award numerous times--only three artists or groups have won two times each. --Another Believer (Talk) 23:18, 13 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • "Beginning in 1996, award recipients often included" Could probably be "Since 1996, award recipients have often included"
  • "The band Foo Fighters holds the record for the most wins in this category, with a total of three"
  • The source for 1995 says Sleeps with Angels was by Neil Young and Crazy Horse, yet there's no mention of Crazy Horse.
